After all this time I am infuriated that no one is addressing the dark past of Brad Schneider. He has consistently given to Republicans who have advocated against Woman’s rights.
Schneider gave to PRO-LIFE REPUBLICANS. That is inexcusable for our nominee to be part of the problem. Planned Parenthood is sitting on their hands with an endorsement to Schneider. Schneider gave to both Bennett and Johanns!http://www.fec.gov/finance/disclosure/norindsea.shtml GO TO THIS LINK and look at who he has given money to! We the 10th Dems cannot allow this to occur! Go to the link and see for yourself!

Schneider must be defeated, he has given to PRO LIFE Republicans. We cannot allow this to stand. At the meeting yesterday he claimed all of his donations “were justifiable, and is proud of them” Look at the evidence above, what else do we need?
We need to get the word out. I am sick and tired of the 10th nominating Democrats that are not true to our principles. We must get behind Sheyman and understand he is the only true, bold progressive in this race. Schneider is a pretender, no Democrat in his right mind should ever give to pro-life Republicans.
We know the race against Bob Dold is going to be a tough one. He has 1.3 Million stashed away. The very last thing we need is to nominate a candidate who has as much baggage as Schneider. The 10th needs to go forward, not back. Ilya Shyeman will carry us there.

Just because he made one or two donations to Republicans doesn’t make him one. Schneider is 100% pro-choice, and he is 100% pro-marriage equality. I think we should take some strategy from Carville and remember that
“it’s the economy, stupid.” Brad is the only on in the race that has business experience.
I’m sick and tired of losing the 10th district to “moderate” republicans. Let’s face it: Sheyman will not be able to beat Bob Dold. No Democrat in their right mind would try to bring down a progressive candidate that can win.
Brad made those contributions supporting Pro-Israel candidates. The vast majority of the contributions Bard made have been to Progressive Democrats.
But don’t trust me. Trust a whole coalition of proven Strong Democrats like Steny Hoyer, Julie Hamos, Jeff Schoenberg, Susan Garrett, Melissa Bean, Elliot Richardson, Main and Vernon Township Dems, IBEW Local 134, Ironworkers Local 63, Bricklayers and Allied Craftworks District of Illinois, Chicago Painters Local 147, Transportation Workers Union Illinios-Indiana State Conference, Waukegan Township Democratic Chairman dave Koss, and this list keeps on going.
Brad is the candidate that has the best chance of turning IL-10 blue and will be a leader for our issues when he gets to Washington.
The fact that Brad contributed to these pro-Israel candidates doesn’t bother me in the least, and I highly encourage everyone reading this article to take a step back. Brad will fight for each and every person in the 10th District. He cares about our best interests. He has a deep understanding of the issues that impact us most. To put it one way, he has been working and gaining business experience for as long as Ilya has been alive…which says a lot to me.
I have heard Brad speak numerous times and I know he is 100% pro-choice. He is the ONLY candidate who will be able to defeat Bob Dold. Just ask Steny Hoyer, Julie Hamos, Jeff Schoenberg, Susan Garrett, Melissa Bean, Elliot Richardson, Main and Vernon Township Dems, IBEW Local 134, Ironworkers Local 63, Bricklayers and Allied Craftworks District of Illinois, Chicago Painters Local 147, Transportation Workers Union Illinios-Indiana State Conference, and Waukegan Township Democratic Chairman Dave Koss.
Brad has consistently been a Pro-Choice candidate. He stands strongly by Planned Parenthood and women’s rights. As voters of the 10th we have the opportunity to nominate and elect a candidate in Brad that will fight for these rights in Congress!
This charge that Brad Schneider is somehow pro-life just because of a few donations to Republicans is completely unfounded. Brad has been known to support many pro-choice organizations like Personal PAC and has spoken openly about his support of a woman’s right to choose. He is a progressive Democrat that also supports health care legislation, marriage equality, and protecting the environment.
Contrary to what the author of this article says, the one who really must be defeated is Bob Dold. Dold is not even close to being a moderate on women’s issues and I certainly feel that my rights as a woman are not being advocated by my current congressman. And the fact of the matter is that Ilya Sheyman is not the person who is going to be able to do that in November. I trust Brad Schneider to advocate for women’s rights once in office and he is the only candidate with the skills and ability to finally turn this district blue.
I just wish Brad would be honest and say that he’ll go with whatever candidate supports his idea of what is pro-Israel every time despite what ever else the candidate is about. I imagine several people in the district would like that. In any event, I imagine many of you know that I’m supporting John Tree. I’ve written about it on my own blog. I feel Tree will bring the fight to Bob Dold while the others will end up arguing only to the already converted, and that he is the only candidate who knows how to capture the soul of the struggling middle class. He also does it with style and humor none of the other candidates express. To me, John is the only candidate who can capture both progressives and independents and will give us a real shot in the general election.
Um…I think you guys are missing the big donations to Mark Kirk’s Senate campaign. Seriously. What gives? Why are we trying to run this guy in our district? He’s barely a democrat! I’m sick and tired of us putting up middle-of-the-road candidates and then complaining when the Blue Dogs screw us in votes (it’s happened waaay too many times).
Re: Trueblue10′s comment
We have BEEN running Schneider-types for a while now. Seals was great. But he was near Schneider on the political scale. Sheyman is young, yes, but he’s already proven his ability to organize – and that’s half the battle. Schneider will not represent the district very well. If anything slightly divisive comes up, like a labor law vote or women’s rights issue, Schneider is voting red.
