What: Habitat for Humanity Lake County invites people who meet the basic requirements to qualify for this program to come to this Applicant Information Meeting. You must attend one meeting, be on time and stay for the full two hours. No children are permitted.

Informational Event for Parents of Children with Special Needs

When: Wednesday, October 2, 2013 from 6:30 – 8:30 pm

Where: Mundelein Police Department, 221 N. Lake St., Mundelein

What: State Senator Terry Link and State Representative Carol Sente will co-sponsor an informational meeting for parents of children with developmental disabilities. The event will include presentations from experts on topics such as guardianship, accessing benefits, day and CILA programs and other issues that will affect children as they transition into adulthood.

Rep. Carol Sente Mobile Office Hours at Buffalo Grove Disabilities Resource Fair

When: Sunday, September 8, 2013 from 9:00 am – 12:30 pm

Where: Buffalo Grove Disabilities Resource Fair, 951 McHenry Rd., Buffalo Grove

What: By providing Mobile Office Hours, Rep. Sente hopes to increase awareness of the state services and resources that are available, and to gather feedback on how Illinois can improve the everyday lives of persons with disabilities.
