Volunteer!

Tenth Dems is a grassroots political organization. Our effectiveness depends on our volunteers. If you would like to work with others in our area who share your concerns over the direction in which our government has been heading, we encourage you to do something about it - become a Tenth Dems volunteer.

Our volunteers do a variety of tasks, including making phone calls, preparing mailings to voters, and going door-to-door with candidates. We have volunteers who write for our newsletter, organize issue forums, work on our website, coordinate our intern program, and serve as our liaison to other Democratic groups and to organizations that share our opinions on the issues of the day. This is only a partial list. To find out more, simply fill out the form below and one of our volunteers will contact you to find out how your skills and interests match our needs.

Join us, and let's work together to build a stronger Democratic Party in the 10th District.

Should any political party attempt to abolish social security, unemployment insurance, and eliminate labor laws and farm programs, you would not hear of that party again in our political history. There is tiny splinter group, of course, that believes you can do these things. Among them are...a few...Texas oil millionaires, and an occasional politician or business man from other areas. Their number is neglible and they are stupid.

-- Dwight D. Eisenhower, November 8, 1954
