Help Wanted Tenth Dems University doesn’t have a campus, hasn’t hired a full-time faculty, and has no plans for homecoming festivities or fielding a football team. What we do offer, however, is a chance for you to become a better-educated voter, a more active and effective political volunteer, and to learn the skills you need if you ever want to run for public office.

Tenth Congressional District Democrats (Tenth Dems) is honored to have John Nichols as the guest instructor for a *Tenth Dems University (TDU) class in Glenview. He is the Washington Correspondent for The Nation magazine, author and co-author of many books, guest commentator on radio and television programs and expert on Wisconsin politics.

Robin Kelly, former State Representative of the 38th District, became the Democratic nominee for Illinois State Treasurer by winning 94 of the state’s 102 counties. While serving as a representative, she successfully sponsored legislation and pursued a progressive agenda. Robin Kelly now serves as chief of staff in the office of the Illinois State Treasurer.
All Tenth Dems University courses are free of charge and open to all. Preregistration is not required, but it is encouraged. If we reach legal room capacity, those who are not preregistered will not be admitted until we are certain that there is room for them. To register in advance, sign up below.
