Tenth Dems University

Tenth Dems University doesn’t have a campus, hasn’t hired a full-time faculty, and has no plans for homecoming festivities or fielding a football team. What we do offer, however, is a chance for you to become a better-educated voter, a more active and effective political volunteer, and to learn the skills you need if you ever want to run for public office.

Important: Many of our recent courses have filled up quickly. Be Sure to Register in Advance. Seating May Be Limited.

09/21/2010: Let’s Talk Politics: Winnetka

Date: Tuesday, September 21, 2010

Time: 7:00 p.m.

Location: Winnetka Public Library, 768 Oak St., Winnetka

Are you worried about the upcoming elections? What can we do to help our candidates win? How do we get Congress to listen to Main Street rather than Wall Street? How do we take a bite out of Citizens United? Should we be focusing on publicly funded elections? Will the wars ever end? Will our frustrations ever end? Do you want to talk about it? If so, the place to do it is at our Let’s Talk Politics event at the Winnetka Public Library where the conversation flows and ideas blossom.

All are invited to this informal discussion moderated by Cook County Board candidate Jennifer Bishop Jenkins on September 21. Bring your family and friends and neighbors. We think you’ll find it a really interesting and exciting evening as different views are put on the table.

Registering in advance is not required, but it helps to let us know how many to expect. So please register, if you will, at the link below.
